Just a quick note

Little Dani has had his H1N1 vaccine today, and is not feeling very well, so I have to keep this quick. I will get back to you with some layouts as soon as I have the time. School is killing me at the time! My exams are coming up- Yikes!

I never seem to find the time to blog. School is taking a lot of my time! Anyway- I thought I'd throw together a quick post before I go to bed.

Tamara of TotallyD designs recently released two new kits; Sweet Pea and a mini kit called Little Hero.
Here are two LO's I made with Sweet Pea:

I usually don't do Layouts without journaling. I don't seem to like them very much without, but here is one I made yesterday, which I am actually very proud of.

In addition I just got a new lens for my camera! A 50mm Sony SAL 1.8- and I LOVE it! This is one of the first photos with it.

I have not been feeling well thesa last few days and I just don't feel like sitting by the computer as much, so my little computer time has been spent on scrapping and playing Aion :-P
I have done a couple of LO's since last time. I hope I don't double post now, 'cause I honestly don't remember the last LO's I posted here.

First up is Dani's 9 month layout! I love how this turned out. I bought this kit from K-Studio designs when I felt sorry for myself. Being sick and all, hehehe.

LO update time! First up are the ones that I have created for Tamara and her TotallyD designs!

Both of these are made using TotallyD- Suddenly

This one is using a template from Kate Designs called "Brandi", everything is from TotallyD's "going bananas" exept the background which is from "Whooptidoo"

This is made using "Luke" from TotallyD

And this one uses "Hazel". This is also my submission for the Mystery Scraplift over at MyLifeAndScrap.

I have finally gotten around to scrapping some "old" pictures. Since we got our new digital SLR camera, I've only scrapped the higj quality photos, and all the pictures from Dani's first months was left out. Here are two LO's that I recently did.

After what seems like forever, I've finally finished another page! Without stressing! I had to finish the photobook for mom, so it's not late for her birthday. And I had so many photos I wanted to have in her album, and in the end I used some quickpages and some clustered frames. But I was only moderately happy with them. So yesterday was my first "no stress page" in a while!

I was one of the lucky ones who was RAKed by Charlize at DST, and I used her gorgeous kit "pure life" on this LO. Alphas are from Tracie stroud and Krystal Hartley- both recolored.
Here is my page. I can't believe my little boy is 8 months already!

I've just had an interview with my teahcer in game design. We talked about what my five-year plan was, and I told him I really want to go to Japan and work. He was like, "yeah, ok. We can probably do that!"
I'm still a bit wow'ed out. I mean, it's been a dream of mine for a long time and he tells me he can actually make it happen!! He also wanted to know if I'd be interested in working with im on designing a game for small kids, like 1-2 year olds. He knows I have a son at 8 months (he has a daughter who is 10 months old), and so he thought I'd be especially interested. And I am! It sounds like a great idea- one that I've never seen before, so..
I am so happy right now. I am really going somewhere with my life.

I also made a LO yesterday, about me going back to school.

This is a LO I did for the mystery lift challenge. It goes as the name says- you lift a LO, but without actually seeing it! I'm really happy with how it turned out! Lisa is good at explaining ;-)

Here we have Dani trying to reach for something that's on the kitchen bench. He is jumping- trying to get to it, but can't reach it (luckily!). The poor curios little boy, hehe. It ain't safe to leave him unattended no more, that's for sure!

Journaling is about the day my son got his first real look at the river, and how amazed he was.
